We found him! The Raging Bull has made himself a new temporary home in the city centre.

Birmingham's favourite tourist attraction has found himself in a car park in Ladywood. And he's been closely watched by a security guard and a portable toilet.

Thanks to helpful BirminghamLive readers we found the beloved structure in the car park off Great Tindal Street on Friday lunchtime. His future is currently not yet known - but discussions are underway to find him a permanent home in the city.

Temporarily though he has found himself in the car park of Frank Allart, a locally-owned family business who have manufactured English hardware in the heart of Birmingham since 1914.

It was confirmed on Thursday morning that the Raging Bull would be moving from Centenary Square in "the next 24 hours". And by 9.30am on Friday, he had gone.

The Raging Bull had spent a two-month stint in the city after wowing the world during the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony in July. It has been seen by over four million visitors since it first arrived.

Bull-pandemonium was at its peak in the few weeks following the Games' Opening Ceremony. Centenary Square was regularly heaving with crowds taking selfies with the impressive 30ft beast.

The organisers of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games have reassured the public that they are in advanced discussions with a local venue so that the Raging Bull can have a permanent home and will remain as a free to view attraction. Plans are currently being finalised and organisers confirmed that they hope to announce more in the coming weeks once a full feasibility study and safety report is completed.

The Raging Bull himself said: "I have had a truly fabullous time. Birmingham’s people really are adoreabull.

"The city really bulled out all the stops and made this time so unbullievable not just for me, but for the international sports stars that came to the Games. I have been in over 4million selfies so the steaks have been raised for future Games.

"Farewell to my Brummy family, I shall return soon and take the city by the horns once more!!"
